Sisterhood

One of the most rewarding aspects of joining a sorority is the opportunity to be part of a sisterhood that becomes a family away from home. College is a time of immense growth, and the friendships at Kappa provide a solid foundation of girls who encourage and spur each member on to be the best version of herself. In order to celebrate and continually strengthen this bond, Beta Theta hosts several sisterhood events each year. In the past, these have included dressing up in our brightest blue and blue and hitting the local skating rink and watching movies on the Kappa lawn. However, the very core of Kappa’s unique sisterhood is found in some of the smallest moments that possess the greatest impact. Some of the greatest memories are embedded in the spontaneous laughs that always seem to happen while walking to class or eating dinner on the front lawn. Kappa is not just a sisterhood, but also a family—which is one of the countless reasons to call 700 College home.
